The Corinthia is offering a real treat this Mother’s Day. For £245 each, it is a unique mother-daughter experience. The price includes a choice of a 50 Minute massage or 60 minute personalised facial, manicure or pedicure, red carpet blow dry at Daniel Galvin at Corinthia, light lunch in the Spa Lounge with a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne or freshly squeezed orange juice to complement your day, full use of the Thermal Floor with Amphitheatre, Sauna, Steam Room.

St Ermin’s Hotel

Why not enjoy a delicious Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea in the beautiful Crystal Ballroom at St Ermin’s Hotel, accompanied with a glass of Champagne, a gift of home-made macaroons and St Ermin’s Newby special blend tea. As an addition to this unique experience, a string trio will also be playing from 2pm – 5:30pm. The afternoon Tea is served from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

Lord’s afternoon tea is in the spirits of Lord’s infamous cricket tea; their scones are hand-baked with homemade jam and Cornish clotted cream and finger sandwiches. Lord’s also offers a selection of cakes and dainties from Lord’s resident patissier. A string trio will add to the sublime atmosphere.

Timings: 1st Sitting – From 1.15pm to 4.00pm, 2nd Sitting – From 4.15pm to 6.45pm

Brown’s Hotel

Brown’s Hotel was London’s first ever hotel which opened in 1837. Since then it has had a fascinating history and has been the host of many distinguished guests. It is believed that from there Rudyard Kipling penned many of his novels and it is also believed that The English Tea Room was the inspiration for Agatha Christie’s ‘At Bertram’s Hotel’.

The English Tea Room has been awarded The Tea Guild special Awards of Excellence 2013 in recognition of their outstanding quality and consistently high standards in Afternoon Tea service. Previously it has also been voted The Tea Guild’s ‘Top London Afternoon Tea 2009. It is sophisticated and stylish and is a mix between traditional and contemporary style.
