You don’t need a front row ticket to be part of LFW as there are plenty of London Fashion Week events taking place around the Capital. From pop-up shops to fashion exhibitions; here are the places you must visit during LFW SS14.
London Fashion Week SS14 kicks off in the Capital this Friday 13, running until Wednesday 18 September. With some of fashion’s biggest names from Burberry to Christopher Kane showing in London, the city will come alive with some of the most fashionable events of the year.

matchesfashion.com have teamed up with designer and illustrator David Longshaw in celebration of London Fashion Week. The designer has created an exclusive scarf for the store, which will go on sale on Friday 13, priced at £200. Longshaw has also designed exclusive Fashion Week window displays for each of matchesfashion.com’s London stores, featuring his adorable ‘Maude the Mouse’ character working some of AW13’s biggest trends.

LFW Cocktails at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Bar
Inspired by LFW designers, Harvey Nichols London has created six new tipples to toast all things fashion. Sip on the stylish Weekend for Women, inspired by Burberry’s new Weekend fragrance, or toast to Stella McCartney with her cocktail homage, Stella May Day. The World According To Karl is tempting us too, inspired by Mr Largerfeld himself. Must be consumed whilst wearing some statement black sunnies.

British Fashion Council Pop-Up Shop
The BFC are to launch a pop-up shop to celebrate British contemporary fashion at London Fashion Week. Launching Friday 13th in the West Wing of Somerset House, The Shop will house AW13 ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes from the likes of House of Holland, Sophia Webster, Markus Lupfer and Lulu & Co. Credit cards at the ready.

The May Fair Hotel
As the official hotel of London Fashion Week and LFW residence of Anna Wintour, The May Fair hotel naturally has a whole host of events taking place. Dine like Cindy, Kate and Naomi from the restaurant’s Supermodel Menu, or indulge in an afternoon of Cocktails and Cupcakes inspired by the style and elegance of bygone eras. One of the world’s most celebrated fashion illustrators, David Downton will host an exhibition of his inspiring work at iconic London hotel, Claridge’s. Oxford Street Fashion Showcase
The New West End Company and the British Fashion Council have teamed up to support the very best of British fashion and give non-ticket holders a little taste of Fashion Week. Head to London’s shopping mecca, Oxford Street until 17 September where you’ll find a host of fashionable events. From styling session with Lulu Kennedy at Topshop to a free denim alteration service at H&M’s flagship store, shopping never looked so good.

Fashion Film Festival by Silent Cinema
Film buffs: get yourselves down to St Martin’s Courtyard for an open-air movie experience all about fashion. Watch the shows live on the big screen or see what it’s really like to work in the fashion industry by catching a showing of The September Issue, set in the American Vogue offices. And proving the fashion industry isn’t all posing and pouting and they can have a giggle at themselves, the festival will also screen tongue-in-cheek fashion comedy Zoolander. Iconic lingerie label, Triumph are the official catwalk lingerie supplier for LFW, underpinning countless shows. To celebrate this, the brand are opening a pop-up space in London’s Seven Dials, where you’ll find installations, events, inspirational talks and workshops. A must for lingerie lovers, the space will be open until January 2014 so there’s plenty of time to check it out.

Vodaphone London Fashion Weekend
London Fashion Weekend returns to Somerset House once again, bringing together a shopping extravaganza and a catwalk experience. Designers such as Baukjen, House of Harlow and Pringle of Scotland will be setting up shop, whilst guests can take to their seats in the BFC show space to see a catwalk highlights of Holly Fulton, Giles and PPQ.
