You’re never too young to show off your moves on the dancefloor. Monski Mouse’s Baby Disco invites parents and their little dancers for a summer boogie, to such classics as Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. Suitable for the under 5’s, when they’re still too young to find mum and dad a dancing embarrassment.

Kids love a stupid noise or brilliant sound effects, so please them this summer with world-famous, world-record breaking human beatbox, Shlomo. He’ll take them on a journey full of funny sounds as one of the sonic superheroes sidekicks.

Leaping into the London are the log-chucking, axe-juggling lumberjacks-come-circus performers – it’s not as scary as it sounds, we promise. Blending together an entertaining mix of circus and theatre, live music and folklore, with some acrobatics thrown in, this is a show the whole family will remember for summers to come.
Cerrie Burnell of CBeebies fame presents a beautiful tale inspired by her own true story. As a child, all Cerrie dreamed of was becoming a famous ballerina but her own disability held her back. In this charming tale, Cerrie escapes to the Magical Playroom in search of her dream. Suitable for ages 3-6 and any little aspiring ballerinas in the family.
What would happen if the Queen’s knickers went missing? Well you’ll find out in this comedy for little ones. Presented by two hilarious actors, it’s part of the Southbank’s Festival of Neighbourhood. We’re not sure one would approve, but it’s sure to be jolly good fun.
This unique show of puppetry, comedy and storytelling tells a tale of a shepherd and his faithful dog, who set out to plant a forest and transform the barren landscape. With hi-tech multisensory elements, the story is brought to life as the audience will hear the wind, feel the rain and smell the planted lavender. A true feast for the imagination.
When: Thursday 22 August – Sunday 1 September 2013
Jump on board and join the tale of Flinn, who finds a pirate hiding in his cupboard. Brought to the Southbank from Les Enfants Terribles new children’s theater, Les Petits, it’s a must-see for any Jack Sparrow fans.
